A1 Diner - Gardiner - I haven't checked out yet but have been by it many times. They have a history/cook book out, and they will be showcased on the Food Network. (Tim)

Big G's - Winslow - The food is awesome and killer prices. A full size sandwich would feed 3 normal appetites. Fresh baked bread, & veggies with no skimping on the meat. Just a killer sanwhich....they claim to be "Maines Best Deli"....and they are. (Tim)

Jordan Pond House Restaurant - Bar Harbor - Afternoon tea on the lawn.

Little Dan's BBQ and Grill - Lewiston - They just moved to a better place. If you like slow cooked BBQ, this is the place to stop. (Tim, OLRON)

The Lobster Shack Restaurant - Cape Elizabeth - It's not just the food but the destination - (vinhead)

The Rhumb Line - Searsport - For Fine Dining Searsport Maine on the way to Bar harbor. FANTASTIC Black Angus Steak.. RESERVATIONS are a MUST.. BIM is a FANTASTIC Chef,, He was a Chef in DC ... VERY nice people,, Dinner will cost a few $$$ More then average ,BUT you will be FULL....(OldRadco)
