The Dog House - Dennisport - Two brothers own it. Lots of nice picnic tables with umbrellas. Everything is kept hyper clean. Had a "split" dog (grilled) with cheese on a toasted bun - very good. I also tried a spicy Portuguese Linguica sausage, split lengthwise and grilled with onions and peppers. Also tasty. The onion rings were very good but the fries are hand cut - the best fries can be.  They also have homemade chili and chowder from scratch and hand cut chicken breast for chicken fingers. Only outside seating and gravel parking.

Ellie's Place, 1402 Main Road, Westport - Another good place for eclectic sandwiches, chowder, clam fritters and such. Happens to be on my Quahog Cruise,  MA (508) 636-5590 (matarheel)

Franca's Brick Oven Pizzeria - Waltham --- wood oven style pizza, get the "special". Sam Adams is the same price as Bud. (Steve C.)

Lloyds Diner - Framingham - had a GREAT ! breakfast. The had a special going on called the Big Breakfast 5.50. 3 eggs 2 sausages, 2 bacon home fries. Well there was 3 eggs but the cook loaded up the plate. I am still full from it tonight. If you been to Carl's in Oxford this is just a filling. This is worth the ride to!! (NomadWillie)

Mandarin Reading - Reading - If you're in Eastern Mass., and in the mood for Chinese or Japanese and Sushi---this is the place.  Killer Lunch Buffet, and Sunday Evening Buffet as well, including sushi. (KEBarry)

Best Chinese food in the area, IMHO.

McMenamy's Seafoods - Falmouth - I like the seafood here, cape atmosphere, it's almost next door to Barbecue Barn: (matarheel)

Red Wing Diner - Walpole (RT 1South) --- like a lot of places they serve a bunch of things but are locally famous for their fried clams. (Steve C.)

Richardson's Ice Cream - Middleton

Famous Bills - Greenfield - If you want to sit down and eat some good food cheap then go to downtown Greenfield ( West MA ) and stop here. Easy to find, big parking lot in back and great home cooked food! (OSJ)

Frieghtyard Pub - North Adams - (Phil/n1gam)

The Freight yard is pretty cool, and you park under a bridge.  I don't think you can see the parking lot from the restaurant so don't leave valuables on your ride while you eat.  (OSJ)

Holy Smokes BBQ - West Hatfield - Good BBQ - (Marauder) - fire on 6/20/07. Will amend listing if they rebuild.

Jack's Grill - Housatonic - is located in Housatonic MA, yes thats where the fabled Alice's Restaurant story began.  But Jacks is a great little stop that has some great food, and very pleasant wait staff. Plus the men's room has a little surprise for the curious & nosey person.  The riding in this area is very special as well.  You can explore the south western corner of MA on such great motorcycle roads like.  Rt 23, Rt 57, Rt20 ( Jacobs Ladder ) and Rt8.  All great roads to take your bike on before you stop at Jack's. (OSJ)

Joe's Diner - Lee - Want a little history in your soup?  Try finding visiting this place. Yup you can eat at that counter like that little kid did so many years ago.  I've been for breakfast & Lunch a few times. Gracie says they make the best grilled cheese sandwiches there.  Here is a map to help you find it. Its right by the tracks in downtown Lee MA. (OSJ)

Moonlight Diner - North Adams - Great cheeseburgers and their fries are super!! (Marauder)

Old Creamery Grocery and Deli - Cummington - N42 27.813 W72 54.282 I call this place the Cummington Store. Great great chili. Quaint atmosphere. Right at the intersection of Rt 112 and Rt 9. Don't have a place to go one afternoon and want a nice ride to a place with great food. This is a first rate choice. (NomadWillie)

Wagon Wheel Country Drive In - Gill - A country drive-in restaurant. indoor outdoor seating. Serving salads, grilled burgers, hot dogs, fresh fish, homemade soups and chili. Also, falafal, gyro, Snows Ice Cream, soft serve, Deans Beans Coffee and baked goods. Gill.  A great place to start off your ride down the Mohawk trail. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (OSJ)

Wolfie's - South Deerfield - Map - Right at the beginning of one of the best motorcycle roads in MA ( Rt116 ) is a small place called Wolfie's.  I don't think they serve breakfast, but I've been for lunch several times.  Great food. You cant beat the riding around this area. You got rt47, rt116, rt112 and of course the Mohawk Trail nearby. (OSJ)
