All are invited to join Ed and Debbie on our rides during the Maine weekend. All of our riding will be at a relaxed to moderate pace because of the great scenery and nice places to stop.

Wednesday 6/8/11 - Brunswick to Ellsworth

 

Kickstands Up at 10:00am from the Mobil Station on Route 1 in Brunswick, Maine. The Mobil is on the right side just after you get off from I-295. Please fill up at the Mobil as it is 115 miles to the first gas. This 178 mile ride will be moderate paced. Highlights include Boothbay Harbor, Permaquid, and Camden. Thursday 6/9/11 - Acadia National Park

 

Kickstands Up at 8:00am outside the hotel. Please start with a full tank of gas. This 131 mile ride is filled with spectacular scenery and many great places to stop. Despite the modest mileage, this is a full day (or two). Lunch in Bar Harbor (restaurant reviews). Highlights include Cadillac Mountain, the Park Loop Road, Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, Otter Cliff, Otter Point, the Jordan Pond House, Sargeant Drive, Bar Harbor, Seal Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor, and Bass Harbor. Friday 6/10/11 - Penobscot Bay Region

 

Kickstands Up at 8:00am outside the hotel. Please start with a full tank of gas. This 161 mile ride is for those that want to savor the best of the Blue Hill Peninsula and Deer Isle. This ride explores many of the backroad scenic spots and interesting places to see. You'll want to get off your bike often to see the sights. Lunch in Castine (reviews). Saturday 6/11/11 - Schoodic and Downeast Coast

This 150 mile ride includes the Schoodic Peninsula, Schoodic Scenic Byway, Blackwoods Scenic Byway, Fox Pond, and OSJ's secret loop around Graham Lake. Lunch at Maple Knoll Pizza. A fun 2-up ride. Kickstands Up at 7:00am outside the hotel. Please start with a full tank of gas. This 181 mile ride will be moderately paced. Highlights include the summit of Mt.
