Mountains and Lakes

The Green Mountains of Vermont, the Adirondack Mountains of New York, and the Lake Champlain area are great places to ride. The Green Mountain Gap Roads (17, 125, and 73) are scenic climbs with nice twists. Tracy Road is a great twisty in New York. Climb up Route 73 into the Adirondacks to visit the Olympic sites near Lake Placid. Routes 86 and 9N are beautiful runs past alpine rivers.
