Quebec provides wonderful riding opportunities along the St Lawrence Seaway, and venturing north inland to explore the mountains and geology of the Canadian Shield geologic region. Quebec City is a charming and walkable city full of history and worth spending a day. The remote Gaspe peninsula provides miles and miles of shoreside riding, with several areas of great curves up and over the seaside bluffs toward the eastern end.
French is the official language of the province, so some basic knowledge is helpful, though English is also widely understood (if not willingly spoken).
