NER Notes
When Gary the owner is cooking, the dogs are exceptional. I especially liked the Chicagoan dog although I don’t remember any sport peppers. It did taste very fresh. The New Englander I was expecting, to taste like most other dogs from around here, but the red spicy relish gave it a different flair. I was pleasantly surprised. There is a slaw dog and another that don’t remember.
The fries are skin on. They’re best eaten hot. They also have a sausage sandwich on a Portuguese roll called a Mighty Ity. Either hot or mild sausage. He doesn’t overcook the sausage so it is still juicy. All in all. I have added it to my list of places to stop. I stop whenever I’m in the area and have the time. (Frankman)
