The Eastern Lakes region has many of the Adirondack’s best twisty roads. The elevation change from the mountains down to the lakes produce roads with many tight corners. The scenery is terrific with mountains to the west and Lake George and Lake Champlain to the east.
This NER favorite is filled with great twisty roads and spectacular lake scenery. You’ll ride along Lake George, Schroon Lake, and Lake Champlain. Some of the Adirondacks Best Twisty Roads are on this ride including Tracy Road, Ensign Pond Road, Palisades Road, Lincoln Pond Road, Hoffman Road, NY 8 & Elephant Rock, NY 74, Diamond Point Road, Schroon River Road, and NY 9N. Finish at Fort William Henry in Lake George.
While in Ticonderoga, consider a short detour up Mount Defiance:
