NER Notes
The Eastern Adirondacks has many of the Adirondack’s best twisty roads. The elevation change from the mountains down to the lakes produce roads with many tight corners. The scenery is terrific with mountains to the west and Lake George and Lake Champlain to the east.
This ride is filled with exciting twisty roads and spectacular lake scenery. This may be the best curvy ride in the entire Northeast. See the Whiteface Mountain ski base, the Olmstead Dam, and Schroon Lake. Some of the Adirondacks Best Twisty Roads are on this ride including Tracy Road, Ensign Pond Road, Lincoln Pond Road, Hoffman Road, Hurricane Road, River Road, and Haselton Road.
Lunch is at Flanagan’s Pub & Grill (reviews) or Pitkin’s Restaurant in Schroon Lake.
