The Elk is a majestic animal at home in Pennsylvania’s northern hills.
This ride follows scenic PA 120 west to Hyner Mountain Road, Hyner View State Park & its scenic lookout. Then it is on to visit the majestic elks at the Elk Country Visitor’s Center. Next is some of the best twisties in the State on Wycoff Run Road. Ride through Kettle Creek Park and along the river on Route 120. Finally ride Route 664 and Route 973 back to Williamsport.
Lunch is a picnic in Kettle Creek State Park. Pick up food at the Benzette Hotel Restaurant (call ahead at 814-787-4240 – it opens at 11:00) and ride one hour to the park. Enjoy your feast with a great water view! Park admission is free and it has a picnic area, grills, and restrooms.
