Nice fish & chips and chowder at The Caves Restaurant. FYI, the water had reached the cave about 2 hours prior to high tide.
After checking the weather map and donning the sauna suits we headed up the Fundy Trail Parkway.
Stopped to pay the fee $28 CN (2 adults). Asked the nice lady about the "Construction next 30 miles" sign. They are not working today...apparently they don't do construction on rainy days and Fridays? She also mentioned chip & seal, but they had already swept it. 30km on some degree of chip & seal in the park and another 30km of fairly fresh chip & seal from the park to NB 114. I didn't get a lot if rocks flying up, but certainly wasn't going to make any crazy turns.
A little more construction on NB 114 towards Alma. Replacing a few culverts. You do not have to pay the National Park fees if you are passing through.
