NER Notes

Rare gem of a route in the Greater Boston area, mostly winding rural roads and passing through or by two National Wildlife Refuges and Callahan State Park. Goes through historic Sudbury center and by the picturesque Wayside Grist Mill.

I did this route on Apr 4, 2023 and the pavement issue has been resolved. Most of it is smooth surface with very nice tight turns. I did this mid week at lunch time and there was some traffic, but mostly empty. I am giving it 5 stars since its super easy for me to get there and have a 60 min ride

How were the road conditions at the time you RECENTLY rode?

    Very Good - minor imperfections

The entire Dutton Road section is a bone-jarring ride through a poorly maintained road.  There was also what appears to be a sewer or water pipe replacement that runs on the road as you approach Weston.

Aside from that it is a beautiful ride.

How were the road conditions at the time you RECENTLY rode?

    Poor - many bumps/hazards
