This is a sleeper gem of a route tucked away in the beautiful corner of Connecticut! Excellent curvy farm/woods roads all day long and pastoral early fall scenery. Add in beautiful early fall weather with deep blue skies and temps in the mid-60s -- heaven. Some good and bad pavement, but every road was worthwhile. The little cruise around Lake Waramaug at the end capped off a great day.

Rode the entire route straight through yesterday, with a short side-trip to Sherman for breakfast at the American Pie Company (delicious) near the start. The lunch stop was open, but we didn't go in. Seems small, so check it out before bringing a big group.

How were the road conditions at the time you RECENTLY rode?
