Wonderful stretch of twisties up and over Mingus Mountain in the Prescott National Forest, between Cottonwood and the Prescott Valley. The historic mining town turned artist colony of Jerome is perched along the switchbacks up the mountain and is a great place for some sightseeing.
Few passing zones, so try to run it in times of low traffic or you get frustrated! Making this run back and forth a few times is a great way to spend a day while based out of Sedona.
