The ride includes the Bennington covered bridges, NY 67, the Bennington Battlefield, the Saratoga Battlefield, some Henry Knox cannon trail markers, Saratoga Monument, Fort Edward, Cooper’s Cave, the Bloody Morning Scout site, Col William’s Grave, Bloody Pond, Fort William Henry, Lake George Battlefield, Sabbath Day Point, Ticonderoga, Mount Defiance, George Howe Memorial, Liberty Monument, La Chute portage and the Great Carrying Place, Crown Point, Valcour Island, the War of 1812 Museum, the Macdonough Monument, and Plattsburgh Bay.
Consider a side spur to Whitehall to see the Skenesboro Museum and the birthplace of the American Navy.
