NER Notes
Great Sacandaga Lake forms the southern border of Adirondack Park. CR 4 is an exciting twisty road that follows the north shore of this lake. NY 30 is the Adirondack version of Route 100 in Vermont. It is a scenic road that runs north-south through the entire Park.
The ride features a warm-up twisty ride on Glenn Falls Mountain Road and then a scenic and twisty ride on Route 4 along Great Sacandaga Lake. Route 30 then climbs into the heart of the Adirondacks at Indian Lake. Ride great twists on 28N and Blue Ridge Road (CR 84) before the ride turns south. There is an exciting run on CR 24 (Hoffman Road/Irishtown Road) and then a scenic ride along back roads to Lake George.
Lunch at Izzy’s Market & Deli, Cafe Sarah or other North Creek restaurants.
