NER Notes

This great 223 mile ride combines an Appalachian Gap run on Vermont Route 17 with some of the best twisty roads in the Adirondacks. Visit historic Crown Point. Highlights include Tracy Road, Ensign Pond Road, and, Lincoln Pond Road. Enjoy a scenic 20 minute ferry crossing ($7.50) from Essex to Charlotte (leaves NY every 1/2 hour until 5:30pm, hourly from 5:30 pm to 8:30pm).

Lunch is at the Forty Six Restaurant in Keene.

Wow - this has to be my favorite ride now.

Ensign Pond Road and Tracy road were fantastic twisties.

Hurricane Rd needs fresh pavement and already had a fair amount of pine needles on it (9/29/20).

Ferry is up to $7 and was a nice touch.

How were the road conditions at the time you RECENTLY rode?

    Very Good - minor imperfections
