NER Notes

Lake Champlain and the Islands provide a perfect backdrop for a fine day of riding. This ride tours the islands with a stop at the Champlain Statue at St. Anne’s Shrine. Ride through pretty farm country on North Road and South Road before taking Route 108 through Smuggler’s Notch back to Stowe.

Lunch – Get sandwiches at Hero’s Welcome (reviews) and eat at the picnic tables overlooking the Lake at St. Anne’s Shrine (restrooms).
