NER Notes

Perhaps the most isolated scenic federal highway in the state of Oregon, 395 leads you through seemingly endless miles of national forestlands, across open plateaus with mountain vistas, and twisting through narrow river canyons.

This was an epic day of riding during a recent trip round the country. Breathtaking scenery, some excellent curves, and a special experience when I came to a standstill to watch a couple cowboys and their dogs herd some cattle across the highway (lot of open rangeland in these parts).

How were the road conditions at the time you RECENTLY rode?

    Very Good - minor imperfections
