Vermont Route 100 is a motorcycling classic with great farm views. Tyson Road/Kingdom Road, VT 131, and VT 140 are some of the best riding in the Green Mountain State.
This ride covers the best part of Vermont Route 100 from Waitsfield down to Plymouth. Next come 3 of the best twisty and scenic roads in Vermont in rapid succession. Tyson Road/Kingdom Road is a great curvy BONE (Best Of the NorthEast) Road that is a blast to ride. VT 131 is a scenic byway that follows the curves of the Black River. VT 140 is one of the best curvy roads in the Northeast. It climbs and twists 25 miles through the Green Mountains to Poultney. Stop for lunch in Poultney and then follow Routes 30, 73, 53, and 116 north along the western border of the Green Mountains. Finish with a thrilling ride over the Appalachian Gap on VT 17 and then Route 100 back to Stowe.
