The Western Adirondacks are gentler and more relaxed than the Eastern Adirondacks. The curves are more sweeping and the views are lakes and forest.
This ride visits the best of the Western Adirondacks. Expect gentle sweepers and lake views. Route 10 and South Shore Road along Sacandaga Lake are nice and curvy. Finish with a ride up Prospect Mountain in Lake George.
Lunch at the Soda Fountain Restaurant in Remsen or Tavern on the Gorge in Prospect.
